It will clean the pleats and the core of the cartridge element without causing any damage to it because of the soft rubber comb. It can easily be connected to your normal garden hose pipe. It will clean the filter element quicker and with less water usage than using the normal spray nozzle of your garden hose. The dial knob is convenient for you to adjust the water volume coming through the nozzles.
