The Smart IP43 Charger incorporates Bluetooth Smart technology, enabling a wireless approach for setup, monitoring, control, updating, and synchronization of Smart IP43 Chargers. It simplifies managing your charging needs with ease and convenience.

Smart IP43 Charger Models:

• 1+1 Model: Offers two outputs to charge two battery banks. The second output, capped at about 4A with a marginally lower voltage, is primarily for topping up a starter battery.
• 3-Output Model: Delivers three full-current outputs to charge three battery banks, with each output capable of providing the maximum rated current. However, the combined output for all three cannot surpass the charger’s rated current.

Features Include:

• Automatic Voltage Compensation: Adjusts output voltage to counteract voltage drops across DC cabling, enhancing charging efficiency.
• Adaptive 6-Stage Charging Algorithm: Includes stages like bulk, absorption, recondition, float, storage, and refresh, adapting to various battery usage patterns for optimal charging.
• Variable Absorption Time: Adjusts the absorption phase duration based on battery discharge depth to prevent overcharging or ensure complete charging.
• BatterySafe Mode: Protects against excessive gassing by controlling the rate of voltage increase upon reaching gassing voltage.
• Storage Mode: Reduces maintenance and aging when the battery is idle by lowering the float voltage, with periodic voltage boosts to prevent electrolyte stratification and sulphation.
• Li-ion Battery Compatibility: Offers charging solutions for Li-ion (LiFePO4) batteries, with control options through a relay, optocoupler, or Bluetooth.
• Fully Programmable Charge Algorithm: Allows customization of the charging process via Bluetooth or VE.Direct interface, with three preset algorithms available for selection.
• External Battery Sensing: Optional external battery voltage and temperature sensing is possible via Bluetooth, using devices like Smart Battery Sense, SmartShunt, or a BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor.
• Remote On-Off and VE.Direct Interface: Facilitates remote control and wired data connections for comprehensive management and monitoring.
• Programmable Relay and Synchronised Charging: Enhances charge efficiency and battery lifespan by allowing for alarm-based programming and synchronizing multiple chargers.
